Bechem United midfielder Frank Amankwah has sent a heartfelt message to the club’s supporters, urging them to stay patient and keep faith in the team despite a difficult start to the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League campaign.
The Hunters have endured a rough spell, managing just one win in eight games, a run that has left them in the relegation zone.
Amankwah, a former Bibiani Goldstars and Eleven Wonders midfield dynamo delivered a superb performance and scooped the Man of the Match award in the team’s goalless draw against Nations FC last weekend, believes the players are determined to turn their fortunes around.
“What I want to tell the fans is that it’s not too late for us to turn things around. We are pleading with them to continue supporting us. We are confident that before the season ends, things will get better,” Amankwah said after the game.
Bechem United’s poor run led to the sacking of head coach Desmond Issah-Botchway, with the club swiftly appointing Kobina Amissah to steady the ship and guide the team out of their current slump.
