Asante Kotoko attacker, Walid Fuseini Neymar is at the moment doubtful for the Super-Clash on Sunday against eternal rivals Hearts of Oak but is yet to be ruled out completely.
The 25-year-old joined the Porcupine Warriors prior to the commencement of the season and has been amazing since his arrival.
Having already established himself as a mainstay, Walid is not seeing operating from the flanks again like during his days at Nsoatreman FC but rather plays as an advanced midfielder or a playmaker this time.
However, ahead of the big game coming up, Walid Neymar is most likely to miss out due to injury even though he hasn’t been totally ruled out.
Reports are that he was part of the team’s training last Wednesday at Adabo-Jachie but unfortunately could not complete the training due to a slight knock. The medical are expected to assess him today to determine the extent as to whether he will be available for the game or not.
Both Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko have been off to an amazing start to the season and wins from their last matches has really charged up the energy and are expected to deliver a beautiful game this weekend.
The first Super-Clash of the 2025/26 football season is slated for this Sunday, November 9, at the Ohene Gyan Stadium at 16:00GMT (4:00pm)
