Asante Kotoko's Ghana Premier League match-week 32 fixture against Great Olympics has been moved to the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex in Abrankese, the club confirmed in a statement posted on their various socials.

This is to pave way for the National Sports Authority and the Ghana FA to prepare the Baba Yara Stadium for Ghana's upcoming penultimate clash against Central African Republic in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

With the game set to be honoured early next month, the NSA doesn't want to nonchalant and are hoping to get things done and get the facility ready and in a very good state to host the game.

The Porcupine Warriors despite the change of venue, will still approach this game with so much motivation deduced from beating their eternal rivals Hearts of Oak by 2-0 in the Super-Clash over the weekend.

The Reds are currently sitting on the 9th position with 43 points after 31 matches and will approach this game with nothing but another winning mindset to claim all maximum points once again as they look to climb up the table.

The game is slated for this Sunday, June 2, 2024 at 15:00GMT.
