Asante Kotoko head coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum has finally told some of the clubs board members that he wants to resign.

The coach has told the board that he wants to exit Asante Kotoko, with management telling him to officially write to the club, as reported by Kessben media.

Narteh Ogum told the club's top-hierarchy about his decision to leave during their end of year technical meeting over Zoom, according to the administrative and operations manager of Asante Kotoko, Emmanuel Newton Dasoberi.
 
He's reported to have fallen out with the Management headed by the Chief Executive Officer, Nana Yaw Amponsah over the course of the season.
 
Some of the board members unofficially summoned both Nana Yaw Amponsah and Dr. Narteh Ogum to a meeting but Nana Yaw Amponsah refused to honour the invitation.
 
Asante Kotoko won the Ghana Premier league with sixty-seven points last season, ending ther eight years league title drought.
 
Reports in the local media links the Ghana Premier league winning gaffer to a move to Sudanese giants Al-Hilal Omdurman.
 
Meanwhile Asante Kotoko will be starting their preseason in Ghana, before departing to Turkey to continue their preparations ahead of the upcoming season.
