Dreams FC veteran forward, John Antwi has expressed eagerness to return into the Black Stars despite admitting there are lots of Ghanaian nationals faring well with their various clubs and will make it a bit tough.
The 31-year-old has already gotten three call-ups into the senior national team having already made two appearances against Saudi Arabia in a friendly in 2017 and against Sudan in the 2021 AFCON qualifiers.
Prior to the commencement of the ongoing season, Antwi decided to relaunch his career and has already re-signed for his former club Dreams FC where he's made some great impacts already.
The experienced gunman scored three goals in four matches to help the 'Still Believe' outfit qualify into the money zone of the CAF Confederations Cup for the first time in their history.
Also, he's featured in all six matches played so far in the league and has a goal to his belt- against Medeama SC in the last round of matches.
In a recent interview, the ex-Al Ahly and Pyramids FC forward will be ever ready and poised to play for the senior men national team again only if he is handed another opportunity.
"I will leave that to the technical team. They are monitoring every player around the world and if they deem it fit that I am qualified and fit to join the team and they give me a call-up, why not. I am ever ready to join the team.” he said.
