Former Karela United defensive midfielder, Ebenezer Ocran was phenomenal to watch at the heart of the midfield for his new side, FC Samartex on Sunday against Aduana Stars.
The defensive midfielder enjoyed the entire duration of the game against Aduana Stars at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena with aesthetic display.
His contribution towards the team's 1-0 victory over Aduana Stars was smashing and played a pivotal role to secure a brilliant start in the season.
The former Skyy FC player provided an impregnable shield that prevented the away side to find openings. His pair with Emmanuel Keyekeh was pure quality.
Speaking after the game, Ocran was full of joy for the three points as well as the performance of his team.
"I am super excited about the win today because we needed to start the season on a good note and with this performance, we can build on it to do more."
"The team played well, though a difficult game it was for us. We will go back to the tactical board for corrections made in the game to help in our subsequent games."
Commenting on his performance, he said "I thank God for starting the game and with hard work, I will be getting more games to play. It is a new environment with fresh challenges, so I've to fight hard to give a good account of myself."
FC Samartex will travel to Abrankese to play as guest to newly promoted side Nations FC at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex this weekend.
