The Premier League newboys have secured the bolster their defence with the acquisition of AS Gbohloe-Su in the ongoing transfer window.

Ghana Premier League outfit Hohoe United have announced the signing of Emmanuel Kyeremeh to strengthen their backline for the remainder of the 2025–26 season's campaign.

Kyeremeh has signed a long-term contract with the Hohoe-based top-flight league outfit, joining them from the Togolese Championnat National club.

The club's official statement reads: “Centre back Emmanuel Kyeremeh has joined us from the Togolese top-flight side AS GBOHLOE-SU on a long-term deal. A strong addition to our defensive line as we continue to build for the future.”

He was instrumental in AS Gbohloe-Su's successful campaign last term and helped them to secure a qualification to play in the CAF Confederation Cup.

The dependable centre-back featured twice in the 2025-26 CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round for AS GBOHLOE-SU before USFA of Burkina Faso eliminated them on a 3-0 aggregate.

Kyeremeh becomes the third signing of Hohoe United in this transfer window after the acquisitions of Guinean left-back Mohamed Yorobo Bangoura and former Dreams top striker Lawson Bekui.

Hohoe United are hoping to maintain their Premier League status, and it is the reason why they are busy on the transfer market, and they are expected to make five more signings.

Hohoe United currently lies in the relegation zone, and they have suffered three consecutive defeats in the ongoing Ghana Premier League. 

Coach Tijani Abdul Rahim Bashiru, who is under pressure for the unsurprising performances, has been tasked to secure a win over their regional rivals Heart of Lions this weekend.
