Highly-rated goalkeeper, Eric Ofori Antwi has mutually parted ways with Hearts of Oak following the expiration of his contract.
The 30-year-old joined the club from Legon Cities in August 2022 but has been largely underutilized, making only eight league appearances before his injury.
Prior to his exit, the lanky goalie was sidelined for over a year with injury and was since not close with the team anymore despite being under contract with them.
In a post on his official Facebook page, Ofori Antwi wrote;
"After mutual discussions, my journey with Hearts of Oak has come to an end. It has been an absolute honor to wear the jersey of one of the biggest clubs in Ghana.
"Through the highs and lows, I am grateful to my family, fans, teammates, and the entire Phobia family for the unwavering support.
"Thank you for the memories. Wishing the club the very best in the future! Phoooobia!"
Eric Ofori Antwi is currently free and is at liberty to join any club of his choice.
