Hearts of Oak midfielder Salim Adams has highlighted the pressure and high expectations that come with representing the Phobians, insisting that no match is ever easy for the club.
Ahead of their highly-anticipated Ghana Premier League showdown with arch-rivals Asante Kotoko, Adams expressed the team’s focus and determination to secure a positive result.
“There is nothing like an easy match when you play for Hearts of Oak,” Adams said. “Every match is like a final for us. We are prepared for Kotoko.”
The influential midfielder also took a moment to thank the club's passionate supporters for their unwavering backing.
“I’m grateful to the fans,” he added. “They should keep on supporting us.”
Hearts of Oak currently sit in 6th place with 19 points, while Kotoko trail them in 7th place with 18 points. The Super Clash will take place on December 15, 2024, at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
