Hearts of Oak head coach Aboubakar Ouattara is already turning his attention to the eagerly anticipated Super Clash against arch-rivals Asante Kotoko, scheduled for December 15, 2024.
Following his side's 4-0 victory over Immigration FC in the MTN FA Cup, Ouattara stressed the importance of a focused approach as they prepare for the crucial encounter.
“We can’t jubilate too much because we need to think about the next match [Asante Kotoko],” he said, underscoring the significance of the upcoming fixture.
Ouattara highlighted the high stakes for both teams, noting that the Super Clash will be pivotal for their ambitions in the league.
"Kotoko needs the win, and we also need the win. Let's wait till December 15 to see what happens because that game is a three-point match," he added.
The coach reaffirmed his team’s determination to secure victory, stating, “We are going for the three points; if we don’t get it, we take a point.”
With Hearts of Oak sitting in 6th place with 19 points and Kotoko just behind with 18 points, the Super Clash promises to be a thrilling showdown, with both teams eager to claim all three points.
