Ismaily SC were held to a 2-2 draw stalemate by Yaw Annor's National Bank in the Egyptian Premier League on Sunday.

 

The former Ashantigold marksman was in the starting line-up and scored an exceptional 75th minute goal in the round 25 fixture at the Cairo International Stadium.


National Bank drew first blood on the stroke of halftime through Osama Faisal, as he opened the scoring for the home side.


The hosts however returned with a bang after the break as Annor, who is a Togolese international of Ghanaian descent fired home his goal with 15 minutes to full-time against his former team.


National Bank slept on their ors knowing vividly the fortunes of the match could be changed within a twinkle of an eye, however, it manifested.


Burkinabé winger Eric Traore topped a good build up with an awesome goal in the 80th minute to reduce the tally.


However, Ismaily piled the pressure and were rewarded with their second goal of the day at injury time through Omar El Saaiy to snatch a draw.


After Sunday's win, Yaw Annor has increased his tally to ten, firing six assists in 22 games across all competitions.
