Hearts of Oak legend, Amankwah Mireku has suggested the club should relocate to Kumasi due to their recent strings of poor results.
The 'Phobians' will play their remaining home matches this year at the Baba Yara Stadium, starting with their arc and bitter rivals Asante Kotoko this weekend.
Under the tutelage of coach Rahim Bashiru, the team are currently in serious preparations hoping for nothing but a win to return on winning ways and also claim the bragging rights.
In a recent interview on Max FM, the club's former captain has advised the team to Kumasi as he hopes that can help the team patch all cracks and find their rhythm.
"It is about determination. I have always advocated for the team to be moved to Kumasi for a season as things are not going well.
“The Hearts fans in Kumasi are very supportive of us, and it is a kind of motivation for us [Hearts of Oak] that we get from the supporters.”
The game is slated for 15:00GMT (3:00pm) on Sunday, December 10, 2023.
