Former Hearts of Oak striker, Mahatma Otoo, has strongly criticized the club's decision to select the Baba Yara Stadium as their home venue for the recent Super Clash against Asante Kotoko.

The Phobians, who faced a 3-2 defeat in the week 14 Ghana Premier League encounter, opted for Kumasi's Baba Yara Stadium as the match venue.

Otoo, currently based in the United States, expressed his disapproval on Asempa FM's Facebook page when NCC PRO, Kobby Jones was complaining about the hostile behavior using their arrival at the venue, stating that the decision to play in Kumasi was a choice of money over the happiness of the supporters.

He questioned the rationale behind selecting a venue where certain challenges were anticipated, emphasizing the importance of considering the fans' experience.

“What is he even complaining about, how on earth can you choose to play your home game against Kotoko of all teams in Kumasi, You knew very well they won’t allow you do certain things there so why choose Kumasi. It’s because of money, you got money and they got the 3 points, You guys don’t think about the supporters,” he wrote.

Hearts of Oak, positioned ninth on the league table with 16 points from 14 games, is gearing up to face Nations FC at the Kwame Kyei Sports Complex in their next fixture.
