In a bombshell transfer move, Aduana FC have swooped in to snatch Berekum Chelsea’s highly sought-after goalkeeper Gregory Obeng Sekyere, in a three-year deal.
The 21-year-old shot-stopper, whose spectacular performances between the posts have caught the eyes of scouts across Ghana, is now on the brink of signing with the two-time Ghana Premier League champions.
Kickgh.com can confirm that the final paperwork is expected to be signed and sealed in the coming days, with Sekyere officially set to take the gloves for Aduana FC next season.
Aduana, who have been on the lookout for a top-tier goalkeeper ahead of the new football season, made a compelling offer that Sekyere simply couldn’t refuse, as the Fire Boys are banking on his shot-stopping ability and composure under pressure to make a difference between the sticks.
Gregory, who became a fan-favorite at Berekum Chelsea for his remarkable reflexes and high-octane performances, will now be tasked with bolstering Aduana FC’s defense as they gear up for a fierce 2025/2026 Ghana Premier League campaign.
