Ghanaian champions Asante Kotoko have officially written to Karela United for the service of midfielder Umar Bashiru ahead of the upcoming season.
The 25 year old has been excellent since relaunching himself with Karela United and has stayed consistent with them for two straight campaigns.
The mercurial middleman was involved in massive 15 goals in the just finished season, having netted solid 13 goals and provided 2 assists, having established himself as the fans favourite at Anyinase.
The stalwart anchor per reports, is most likely to return to Asante Kotoko in the new season- with the champions having officially written to Karela United seeking for his service.
The Porcupine Warriors are working tirelessly to build a very formidable side with no blemishes to give an upgrade of their output last season in order to defend their league title and also make it into the group stages of the CAF Champions League.
