Asante Kotoko are most likely to announce Abdul Karim Zito as their new substantive head coach next week and will lead the team beyond this season, per exclusive reports reaching Kickgh.com
Zito, is already in charge fully as the Technical Director but his current head coaching role is just on temporal basis as initial decision was to add a permanent substantive coach to the bench at the end of the ongoing season
However, Kumasi-based Opemsuo Radio have reported that Karim Zito will meet the Asante Kotoko interim Management Committee led by Nana Apinkrah next week Tuesday and will be confirmed the club's new head coach on full-time basis as part of his Technical Directorate role
Former Hearts of Oak assistant coach Mohammed Hamza Obeng will also be added to the technical team as the second assistant to the senior team and also head coach of Young Porcupine FC - the club's youth side
Abdul Karim Zito has been impressive so far since assuming the role having gone unbeaten in his first five games in charge, boasting of two draws and three wins. He is still in the league race with two games to spare and also in the final of the MTN FA Cup
