Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak are set to name Berekum Chelsea head coach Christopher Ennin as their new assistant coach with official club announcement imminent, per exclusive reports in the local media.

The 'Phobians' recent reshuffle continues with lots of changes made at the club for the past weeks both administrative and in the playing body.

Just last week, they appointed Ivorian gaffer Aboubakar Ouattara as their new head coach- and is their first since the jettisoning of Martin Koopman late last year.

Reports coming in are that the Rainbow Club have been in contact with Christopher Ennin's and are willing to name him as their new assistant coach in the next few days after parting ways Rahim Bashiru.

The enterprising gaffer since joining the Blues has been very impressive and he's strongly been tipped to help turn things around in the capital.

In the ongoing season, he won eight matches, drew three and six loses after seventeen matches and finished on the 6th position with 27 points after the first round.
