Former Hearts of Oak goalkeeper, Richmond Ayi has successfully passed his medicals ahead of a move to another Ghanaian topflight side Dreams FC.

The 27-year-old shot-stopper left the Rainbow Club despite having a contract after last season and hasn't played competitively since January this year.

He was linked with lots of clubs locally with newly-promoted side Vision FC all mentioned but has ended up joining the Dawu-based club after a fruitful negotiations.

Dreams FC have confirmed the move by posting a picture of Ayi on social media having his medicals with them and will be unveiling very soon.

The ex- Black Meteors goalie joined Hearts of Oak after the 2017/18 season as a free agent, having already had topflight spells with Techiman City FC and WAFA. 

He played an important role in powering the 'Phobians' to two FA Cup titles in two years, especially the last one against Bechem United in Kumasi and was also part of their treble winning squad in 2021.
