Hearts of Oak have per exclusive reports, agreed personal terms with Medeama SC left-back Fatawu Sulemana and are really pushing to secure his service in the ongoing transfer window.

The 20-year-old has been outstanding since joining the Mauves and Yellows in 2019 and played a pivotal role in the club's first ever Ghana Premier League success in the 2022/23 season.

He subsequently joined Sudanese heavyweights Al-Merrikh SC last year but retuned due to unknown reasons and rejoined the Tarkwa-based club for a second spell early this year.

In the just ended season, Fatawu Sulemana made 13 league appearances in the second round and once again scored higher marks in most of the matches he played.

The Rainbow Club have had their private discussions with the player gone successful and are now in contacts with Medeama SC looking to finalize the deal in the next few weeks, according to renowned journalist Shaban Mohammed 

Coach Aboubakar Ouattara has identified Fatawu Sulemana as a potential figure to strengthen their squad for next season and feel he will provide a better competition for Dennis Korsah for starting berth on the left side of defense.
