Prominent Ghanaian road contractor Kofi Gyebi Job, Chief Executive Officer of Kofi Job Construction Limited, is being considered for a position on the board of Asante Kotoko SC, Kickgh can exclusively report.

Sources indicate that Manhyia Palace, together with the club’s newly constituted board of directors, are exploring the possibility of adding the Kumasi-based businessman to the board, with discussions already underway.

Earlier this month, Manhyia announced a three-member board to oversee the affairs of the club. The board is chaired by James Osei Brown, Chief Executive Officer of Joshob Construction, with Kwasi Osei Ofori, CEO of Rocksure International, serving as Vice-Chairman. The third member is Kofi Amoa-Abban, Founder and CEO of Rigworld Group.

Kofi Gyebi Job is widely known in Ghana’s construction industry for undertaking large-scale infrastructure projects. Beyond business, he is also recognized for his philanthropic activities and evangelical work, including organizing prayer festivals.

However, his construction firm has at times faced public scrutiny over alleged project delays and safety concerns on some sites.

Meanwhile, the club’s Interim Management Committee of Asante Kotoko, headed by Nana Apinkra, will continue to handle the day-to-day management of the club until the end of the 2025/26 season in the Ghana Premier League.
