Ghana Premier League side, FC Samartex have invited three other topflight clubs for a mini four-team preseason tournament to be held in Samreboi early next month.
Dubbed the 'Nsenkyire Cup', the Timber Giants will get to square off with Berekum Chelsea, Legon Cities FC and Nsoatreman FC in what pledges to be tougher and a thrilling competition.
The tournament is an uncompetitive one but will for sure promise a high level tests for all partaking clubs which will also serve as the perfect preseason challenge to test their strengths for the new season.
The three-day competition will be held at the Nsenkyire Sports Complex and is expected to run from September 1-3, 2023.
The format as to whether it will be in a knockout or 'all play all' fashion is yet to be revealed by the organisers.
FC Samartex resumed for preparations towards the 2023/24 campaign over a month ago and have already engaged themselves in some tough friendlies including one against Ghana's CAF Confederations Cup reps Dreams FC.
