Ghana Premier League side FC Samartex have secured the signing of former Kotoku Royals forward Clinton Kumi on a three-year contract, Kickgh.com can exclusively reveal.

Kumi, 20, a former player of Elmina Sharks joins the Timber Giants as a free agent after parting ways with Kotoku Royals, where he was a standout performer despite the club’s struggles in recent campaigns.

The pacey winger is expected to strengthen Samartex’s front line as the club looks to build on last season’s 7th placed finish and mount a more sustained title challenge.

The deal, which remains subject to Ghana FA clearance, marks Samartex’s latest move in a busy off-season as they continue to reshape their squad under coach Christopher Ennin.
