Medeama SC captain, Felix Kyei has spoken on the team’s preparations towards the 2025/26 football season and has stated it has been going on well even they ain’t getting the results.
The Mauves and Yellows left the shores of the country to Côte d’Ivoire, Abidjan precisely early this month as they focus much on getting themselves ready and ensure the new guys will gel very well into the team before the new season commences.
Coach Ibrahim Tanko’s men have been training intensively at the Parc des sport de Treichville and have also had some perfect test to identify their strengths and weaknesses so far from the friendlies they have played.
The 2023 Ghanaian champions in their first friendly played out a pulsating 1-1 draw against SO Armee FC, lost 1-3 to FC Mouna next before finally sharing spoils again with E.S Bafing.
Speaking ahead of their game tomorrow, the enterprising goalie admitted their results hasn’t been impressive but added the pre-season is going very well and will definitely right all wrongs before the commencement of the new season.
“Everything is going on well. Our first gamr was good unlike the second but it’s part of the preseason so we’re here to identify our weaknesses and work on it.
“We will urge our supporters to continue supporting us as we prepare for the upcoming season.”
