Former Ghana international Nii Odartey Lamptey has officially assumed duty as the new head coach of Techiman Eleven Wonders.
The Ghana Premier League side confirmed the development in a statement on social media on Wednesday, announcing that the 50-year-old had formally taken up the role on August 20, 2025.
“We can announce Nii Odartey Lamptey has agreed a deal to become the club’s new head coach, formally taking up the position on August 20, 2025. Nii Odartey Lamptey today officially begins his role as our new head coach,” the club wrote in a post on X.
Lamptey’s appointment marks the next chapter in his evolving coaching journey. The former Ghana U17 World Cup winner has previously handled Elmina Sharks and worked across various levels in Ghanaian football, gaining valuable experience along the way.
His immediate task at Eleven Wonders will be to assemble a competitive squad capable of challenging the top teams in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League campaign. The club’s management expressed optimism that his leadership and deep knowledge of Ghanaian football will provide the spark needed for success in the season ahead.
