Bofoakwa Tano has secured the services of former Asante Kotoko defender Charles Owusu.
The highly skilled left-back has committed to a two-year contract with the Ghana Premier League returnees, following a mandatory medical evaluation.
Owusu's transfer to Bofoakwa Tano comes as a free move after his contract with Asante Kotoko was terminated several weeks ago.
With Asante Kotoko deeming him surplus to requirements, Owusu garnered significant interest from multiple clubs within the domestic league, ultimately opting to join Bofoakwa Tano.
His journey began with Asante Kotoko two seasons ago when he made the switch from the lower-tier side BA United, inking a three-year deal. His contributions played a significant role in Kotoko's triumph in clinching the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League title.
