Karela United have announced the signing of 31-year-old defender Nurudeen Yussif Mohammed.
The experienced lanky guardsman made the switch to the Nalerigu-based side after departing Asante Kotoko at the start of the Premier League campaign.
Nurudeen, who works as a nurse at the Tamale Teaching hospital has been given the green light to combine his job as a medic at the health facility with his football career at the fold of the Pride and Passion.
"We're thrilled to introduce our newest team member, Nurudeen Mohammed, who joined us in the just ended winter transfer window. Nurudeen brings a wealth of experience after stints at RTU and Asante Kotoko. With his addition, we're looking forward to a boost defence. Welcome bro," posted the club on social media.
Nurudeen, stands to provide defensive depth in Haruna Iddrissu's owned new look Karela squad.
Meanwhile, the Ghana Premier League has been temporarily suspended after the gruesome murder of ardent Asante Kotoko fan Pooley.
