Asante Kotoko has opened its doors to former Real Valladolid youth prospect Victor Asamoah for a one-week trial period.

The 24-year-old Ghanaian forward, identified and endorsed by club icon Sarfo Gyamfi, has been given the opportunity to showcase his skills and potential fit for the team’s ambitions.

Asamoah, who previously featured in the African Talent group alongside Mohammed Salisu, who departed for Spain in 2018, will be evaluated during his trial stint over the weekend before a decision is made on his potential signing.

With Asante Kotoko aiming to revamp their squad following a lackluster performance in the previous season, finishing sixth, the club is exploring new talent options to strengthen their roster for the upcoming campaign.

Asamoah has already joined the team at the Adako Jachie Training Ground as they commenced the initial phase of pre-season training after their Democracy Cup victory against Hearts of Oak.

The former CD Bupolsa player is eager to impress during his trial period and secure a permanent contract with Asante Kotoko.
