Hearts of Oak have confirmed that midfielder Glid Otanga has been transferred to Qatari second division side Al Kharaitiyat Sport Club.
The Congolese midfielder left the shores of Ghana to Congo on Saturday, July 13, 2024 to finalize his paperwork before heading to Qatar.
However, Hearts of Oak have officially announced the player's transfer but details of the deal weren't disclosed.
“Glid Otanga has officially been transferred to Al Kharaitiyat SC in Qatar. We wish him all the best” the club wrote on X.
Otanga's contract with the Phobians was set to expire in August 2024, but he opted not to renew.
The 22-year-old previously played for Equatorial Guinean side Akonangui FC and Cameroon's Coton Sport FC de Garoua.
