Former Tamale City striker Sampson Eduku has signed a permanent contract with Iraqi club Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya, Ghanasocernet report.
He impressed with Tamale City FC in the Ghana Premier League, scoring 14 goals and providing three assists in 27 appearances.
Eduku had previous stints with CI Kamsar in Guinea and various other Ghanaian clubs. He chose Al-Jawiya despite interest from Hearts of Oak and other African teams.
He becomes the third Ghanaian player at the club, joining Wilson Akakpo and Afriyie Acquah.
Al-Jawiya finished as runners-up in the 2022-23 season and will compete in the Asian Champions League next season.
