Hearts of Oak midfielder, George Paaku has recovered from illness and will be available for selection ahead of their game against Basake Holy Stars - a game he’s stated they are very determined for all three points.
The ‘Phobians’ last win in the league was mid last month against their bitter rivals Asante Kotoko and has not won any of their last two matches; a draw at home to Berekum Chelsea and a painful 2-1 away loss at Bibiani GoldStars last week.
The Rainbow Club are currently sitting in third position on the league table with 41 points, five adrift leaders Medeama SC and will have to push extra harder if they still have their sights set on the league title.
Speaking ahead of the game, the diminutive midfielder expressed excitement for finally getting better and added they won’t look down on their opponents heading into the game.
“We will not underestimate their strength because they are a good team. We will be patient, wait for them to make a mistake and then we will punish them with j the transition,” Paaku told Hearts TV.
Hearts of Oak vs Basake Holy Stars is slated for this Sunday, March 8, at the University of Ghana Stadium at 15:00GMT (3:00pm).
