Nations FC secured a convincing 3-0 victory over Bechem United in match-week 25 opener of the Ghana Premier League at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Complex.
The home side started the game brightly and quickly took control of proceedings as they looked determined to grab all three points in front of their fans.
Bechem United struggled to contain the attacking pressure from Nations FC and were forced into several defensive errors during the game.
Emmanuel Annor opened the scoring in the 8th minute with a brilliant strike to give the hosts the early advantage.
Antwi Sarpong doubled the lead just before halftime, while former Black Starlets attacker Richard Danso capitalized on a goalkeeping mistake from goalkeeper Benjamin Asiedu to add the third goal and seal the win.
The Sky Blues are currently on a two-game winning streak and are in 8th place on the league table with 34 points. They will now turn attention next to their FA Cup quarter-final clash against Berekum Chelsea
Bechem United, on the other hand, extend their winless run to three and now sit in 13th position on the table with 30 points.
