Nations FC head coach Samuel Frimpong Manso has expressed satisfaction after his side extended their unbeaten run with a convincing victory over Bechem United in the Ghana Premier League.
The Eagles secured a comfortable 3-0 win against Bechem United in match-week 25 at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Complex, producing a solid performance in front of their home fans.
The hosts took the lead early through Emmanuel Annor, who produced a sumptuous finish in the 8th minute. Antwi Sarpong doubled the advantage just before halftime, while former Black Starlets attacker Richard Danso capitalized on a goalkeeping error from Bechem United goalkeeper Benjamin Asiedu to score the third.
The result moves Nations FC, also known as the Eagles or the Sky Blues, into 8th position on the league table with 34 points after match-week 25.
Speaking after the match, Frimpong Manso praised his team’s recent consistency and urged them to maintain the momentum going forward.
“We have gone three games without a defeat now. We want to keep our unbeaten run going forward,” he said.
Nations FC will now shift their focus to the FA Cup quarter-final clash against Berekum Chelsea as they aim to continue their impressive run.
