The Ghana Football Association has announced the date slated for the crowning of Asante Kotoko as the winners of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season.

A statement from the country's football governing body confirmed that Asante Kotoko will be crowned champions of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season on Sunday, June 12.

 
Officials of the Ghana Football Association will prevent the coveted trophy to the Porcupine Warriors as they host relegated Premier League side Elmina Sharks in their match-week 33 clash at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
 
The match is scheduled to be played at 6:00pm.
 
The Porcupine Warriors have clinched their 25th Premier League title with three more match-days to end the season.
 
Asante Kotoko currently have 60 points, 10 more than second-placed Bechem United FC, following a 1-1 tie with Ashantigold SC on Thursday.
 
The GFA will be on hand to give the GPL trophy and medals to the club’s players and technical staff at the Baba Yara Stadium.
 
The reward money for winning the league will also be awarded to the club
