Ghana Football Association President, Kurt Okraku has congratulated Asante Kotoko for winning the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League and has urged them to make same statement in Africa.

The Porcupine Warriors were confirmed as the new Ghanaian champions after holding AshantiGold SC to a 1-1 stalemate earlier today at the Len Clay Stadium in an outstanding GPL match-week 29 fixture.

Goal monger Yaw Annor opened the scoring account with a beautiful goal to extend his tally to 20 but Maxwell Agyemang's second half equalizer split the points after full time.
 
Now, the GFA President, Kurt Okraku after game took to Facebook to send a congratulatory message to the 'Kum Apem' outfit describing their season as a fabulous one and has charged them to make a strong statement in Africa next season. He wrote;
 
"It's a fabulous day and it has been a fabulous season. GPL trophy goes to the reds of Gh. Good job guys but hey, it's time to work even harder as africa beckons!!! #BringBackTheLove"
 
Coach Prosper Narteh and his men will now represent Ghana in the 2022/23 CAF Champions League.
