Ghana Football Association President, Kurt Edwin Simon Okraku has paid a courtesy visit to Ghanaian champions Bibiani GoldStars who are currently in serious preparations towards the upcoming season
The Miners for the first time in their history won the Ghana Premier League after a very competitive and keenly contested campaign in the just-finished 2024/25 season
The team after winning the championship will play in the CAF Champions League next season and have already began preparations towards that but are yet to know their opponent in the first qualifying round
As a way to have them fully motivated for the upcoming task, GFA Chairman Kurt Okraku visited the team during their friendly against S.Inkoom Academy in a game that finished goalless at the University of Ghana’s Mensah Sarbah Park
He was accompanied by General Secretary Prosper Harrison Addo and other top officials, who gave words of encouragement to the club
Registration for the competitions will kick off effectively on 1st August 2025 and end on August 31, 2025. Each club is expected to register maximum 40 players and use 11 players in a match with 9 players and 9 officials on the bench with 5 players coming on as substitutes during the changes for substitution under the new directives.
