Ghana Premier League giants Hearts of Oak are close to securing the services of Caleb Kwarteng Opoku, a highly rated midfielder from John Paintsil Academy, on a permanent deal.
The attacking midfield dynamo scored 15 goals in 29 appearances during the 2024/25 Greater Accra Division Two League season, drawing attention with his creativity and attacking prowess.
Kwarteng is currently training with the Phobians as part of their pre-season preparations, with head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani optimistic a deal will be finalized soon.
His addition would strengthen Hearts’ midfield department as the club undergoes an extensive squad rebuild ahead of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
