Matchday 30 of the Ghana Premier League has been moved to Wednesday, May 6, 2026, after this weekend’s games were suspended in honour of the late Dominic Frimpong.

The Ghana Football Association said the new date will also give Berekum Chelsea FC more time to recover following the incident.

In a statement, the association urged all clubs, match officials and stakeholders to take note of the new schedule and follow the changes.

All other fixtures from Matchday 31 to Matchday 34 will go ahead as originally planned.

Matchday 31 will still be played between Friday, May 1 and Sunday, May 3, 2026.

During Matchday 31, players from all clubs will wear black armbands, and a minute of silence will be observed at every venue to honour Dominic Frimpong and to support his family, friends and his clubs, Berekum Chelsea FC and Aduana FC.
