The Ghana Football Association have finally given King Faisal FC the greenlight to adopt the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex as their home venue for the remainder of the ongoing season.
The 'Insha Allah' outfit just recently showed interest in moving their home matches from the Baba Yara Stadium to the newly-built facility in Abrankese and petitioned the GFA for approval.
The country's highest football governing body after a thorough checks on the stadium, have finally sanctioned it in use which means that will be the home grounds of the Green and Whites, starting from the second round.
Official club statement on social media reads;
The Ghana Football Association has confirmed that we will play our home matches at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex for the second round of the 2022/23 League season. This is a result of our request to change our venue."
This means King Faisal will join first division side Nations FC to use the stadium as their home grounds, as they hope to mobilize more income from attendance to help develop fund the club for the rest of the campaign.
