Former Asante Kotoko captain, Felix Annan says he won't wish anyone to go through the situation he was subjected to at the club.
Then number shot stopper, Felix Annan was relegated to the bench after marrying during the course of the season of the 2019/2020 season.
The former Black Stars player, who had arranged his marriage ceremony during the GFA Normalization Committee era before the league start was announced, incurred the wrath of the then technical team headed by Maxwell Konadu.
Kwame Baah subsequent secured the number one spot for the Porcupine Warriors during that season.
Annan has denied reports of Maxwell Konadu advising him to reschedule his marriage ceremony before he went ahead with it.
The 28-year-old has reminisced his painful ordeal at Asante Kotoko, as he wishes no one goes through anything like that.
"That question is becoming boring but I will answer the question concerning whether the coach warned me not to have my wedding. I can tell you it's a big 200% no. He never said anything like that," he said on Angel FM.
"They shouldn't repeat it because in Europe clubs protect players. How many times has De Gea gone through problems but they would never give up on him.
"I was unfortunate but I will never wish anyone goes through something like this again, it was painful," teary Annan added.
Annan finally left Asante Kotoko to join Major League Soccer side Maryland Babcats in 2022.
