Accra Lions FC have now jumped to the second position on the league after recording a slim 1-0 win over Dreams FC in Ghana Premier League match-week 33 at the Ohene Gyan Stadium.

The game was an explosive one with both teams standing up at each other but Bernard Kesse's second half goal made the difference after full time.

The first department of the game was an open one with the two sides possessive-oriented and displayed some sumptuous football and also created chances but couldn't find the back of the net.

In the second half, Accra Lions returned on a good note and looked more purposeful in the face of goal whiles Dreams FC also looked a little sloppy in attack.

The only goal of the game was registered on the 60th minute through Bernard Kesse who scored with a beautiful left foot strike and that was enough to hand the Blue-Blacks all three points.

Accra Lions after the win have now climbed up to the second position on the table with 51 points and will play as guests to champions Samartex FC in the final round of matches.

With the 'Still Believe' lads, this win doesn't look good to their survival hopes and will have to win their next game against Real Tamale United at all cost to stay in the league
