Yahaya Mohammed's brace was enough for Accra Lions to secure an important 2-1 win over Nsoatreman FC in Sogakope in match-day 15 of the Ghana Premier League.

The 'Efiri Tete Amanaso' outfit took the lead in just 15 seconds from kickoff through Kwabena Adu Meider who tapped in at close range from Manaf's cross.

Accra Lions despite a sloppy start, managed to settle really well in the game and mounted so much pressure in search of the leveller.

The visitors came so close to doubling their lead on the 30th minute but Eric Osei Bonsu's delivery went off the crossbar. So unlucky!

In the second half, both teams returned on a good note this time and looked very compact in defence, and took the game at each other in the early stages.

Accra Lions looked much hungrier and eager in search of goal, having pressed on with so much purpose but were struggling to break in the visitors defence.

On the 72nd minute, Yahaya Mohammed got the equalizer for the host after substitute Yahaya Mohammed headed into the net from Dominic Nsobila's cross. Just what they have been hunting for.

Eight minutes later, Yahaya Mohammed beautifully dances his way through the visitors defence and smashed into the net to hand Accra Lions the lead for the first time in the game.

It finished 2-1 for the home team after full time who are back on winning ways.
