Abdul Rahim Bashiru, the interim head coach of Hearts of Oak, refrained from commenting on the recurring errors made by goalkeeper Richmond Ayi in recent matches.
Ayi's mistakes have notably cost the team crucial points, with the latest being a 94th-minute equalizer conceded against Nations FC.
This incident follows a similar error in a game against Asante Kotoko, where Ayi's mistake allowed the opposing team to take the lead, resulting in a 3-2 defeat for Hearts of Oak.
After the 1-1 draw against Nations FC, Coach Abdul Rahim Bashiru explained that he cannot address the goalkeeper's mistakes as he is not responsible for that department.
He indicated that discussions would be held with the goalkeepers' trainer to assess the situation and determine the way forward.
“I can’t say anything about him. We will go back and I will ask the goalkeepers’ trainer because I am not the one in charge of that department.
“So we will go and talk about it and see the way forward,” he told StarTimes after the game.
