Hearts of Oak is on the verge of securing the services of former Black Meteors goalkeeper, Kwame Baah, in the current transfer window, Kickgh.com can exclusively report.

The 25-year-old goalkeeper recently concluded his one-year contract with Ethiopian Premier League side Adama City FC, following his departure from Asante Kotoko SC when his contract expired in 2022.

Kwame Baah, now back in Ghana, is currently engaged in negotiations with Hearts of Oak for a potential move to the Accra-based club. Sources close to the team have confirmed that Baah participated in training on Monday, December 18, and is expected to finalize talks with the Phobians in the coming days.

With his wealth of experience, Kwame Baah is anticipated to make a substantial contribution to Hearts of Oak’s goalkeeping department, which already includes Eric Ofori Antwi, Richard Attah, and Richmond Ayi.

Baah initially joined Kotoko in July 2019 after transferring from Inter Allies FC. During his tenure with the club, he made 24 appearances, conceding 12 goals while maintaining 12 clean sheets.

Additionally, Baah played a crucial role as Ghana’s primary goalkeeper at the U23 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt in 2019, contributing significantly to the Black Meteors’ fourth-place finish. He had previously represented the Ghana U20 national team.
