Accra Lions FC got themselves back on winning ways with an emphatic 3-0 win over Bechem United in match-day 31 at the Ohene Gyan Stadium.
Goals from Dominic Amponsah, Yahaya Mohammed and Daniel Awuni were enough to hand the Blue-Blacks all three points.
Accra Lions opened the scoring account in just thirteen minutes from kickoff through Dominic Amponsah who connected a cross from Remember Boateng.
On the 25th minute, Dominic Amponsah was put through nicely by David Oduro but a timely intervention from goalkeeper Aziz Dari.
Bechem United nearly got the leveller but Emmanuel Ababio had his dangerous effort dealt with nicely by Andrews Owusu.
In the second half, the Hunters returned on a good note in the second half and mounted so much pressure in the early stages but had all their efforts checked.
On the 71st minute, Yahaya Mohammed received a good pass from midfield, he kept his composure and calmly plotted into the net to double the lead.
Six minutes later, Daniel Awuni wrapped up the win with a beautiful screamer to seal the win.
Accra Lions FC will travel to Nsoatreman FC, whiles Bechem United will welcome Aduana Stars in the next round of matches.
