Bofoakwa Tano boosted their Premier League survival hopes with a 1-0 victory over Aduana Stars on Wednesday afternoon.
The win was just Bofo’s sixth in the league this term, and it moved them onto 29 points in the table, now manning the 15th position and ten points behind 3rd-placed Aduana.
The home side made the breakthrough in the 47th minute of the contest through forward’ Emmanuel Agyenim Boateng, who swept the ball into the net with a composed silence to make the home supporters go gaga.
The visitors failed to snatch an equalizer as they expertly picked on the home team defense, however, they pinned them down as they did not get the much-needed breathing space to notch.
