Bibiani Goldstars continued their push of Ghana Premier League survival with a comeback win over Berekum Chelsea on Sunday afternoon.

The Miners staged a 3-1 comeback victory against Berekum Chelsea after conceding in the early minutes of the game in the Ghana Premier League match-week 18 at the Dun's Park in Bibiani.

Berekum Chelsea took an early lead through Mizack Afriyie in the 8th minute after capitalizing on Goldstars' defensive error before Prince Owusu Kwabena levelled the score on the 12th minute of the contest.

Bibiani Goldstars unleashed fearsome attacks on the back line of visitors with the hopes of registering another goal before the break but their efforts were kept out by goalkeeper Gregory Obeng Sekyere.

Coach Frimpong Manso's side exercised their attacking muscles in the second half to register the two goals to end their winless streak against Berekum Chelsea.

Bibiani Goldstars secured all the three maximum points courtesy a 74th minute strike from Frank Amankwah to keep their surviving hopes alive.

A late free-kick was struck into the net of Berekum Chelsea to seal a 3-1 win for Bibiani Goldstars at home.

Following the victory, Bibiani Goldstars have moved to 13th position with 21 points while Chelsea drops to sixth place with 27 points.
