Bofoakwa Tano conceded a late goal to play out a 1-0 defeat against Accra Great Olympics in their Ghana Premier League (GPL) match-week 18 encounter at the Sunyani Coronation Park on Sunday.
Olympics last-gasp goal breezed the capital side to victory as they halted the home team in their tracks, no thanks to late inspiration from free-kick expert Emmanuel Antwi. The dazzling midfielder notched a good free-kick in the 90+7th minute.
The scoreline condemned Bofo to the club’s third consecutive defeat, two draws in their last five matches. Olympics moved temporarily to tenth on the table with 24 points, while Bofo has shot down to the 17th spot with 18 points, one point ahead of bottom placed Real Tamale United.
