Dreams FC have enhanced their survival hopes with an emphatic and historic 8-1 victory over Real Tamale United in an outstanding Ghana Premier League fixture.

The win margin has sparked a huge controversy with lots of speculations stating that RTU didn't get their registered players for this game and rather fielded players from second division side Galaxy FC.

Earlier reports this morning were that, RTU players will boycott the game due to unpaid five months salaries confirmed my midfielder Baba Kushibo but the news was later rubbished by the club's Spokesperson Mohammed Abubakar. 

After securing a 4-1 win in the first half, the 'Still Believe' lads returned on an explosive note to hit four goals again in the second half to seal 8-1 win after full time.

Agyenim Boateng Mensah scored five goals in the game including two penalty kicks, coupled with a brace from Benjamin Bature and the other from Ishmael Dede. 

Lord Hilary Adabo scored the consolation for the 'Wey Una' outfit.

Dreams FC after the win have now climbed up to the 11th spot with 45 points and will host Aduana Stars in the final fixture this weekend.

Real Tamale United have already suffered relegation from the topflight as they currently sit at the foot of the table with 31 points and will face Great Olympics next in the capital.
