With a possible lifetime ban from the Ghana Premier League for impersonation, Real Tamale United is looking into the deep end.

The team faced Dreams FC using unregistered players, and the first team players skipped the game in protest of their unpaid salary and benefits.

This is a frightening event.Strangely enough, the roster sheet contained the names of first-team players who did not accompany the team to Dawu, which led to concerns about impersonation.

Outrage has resulted from this rule violation, and the Ghana Football Association is prepared to act quickly and harshly.

The usage of unregistered players and the purported impersonation are blatant transgressions of the league's regulations, and RTU's actions have damaged the reputation of the sport.

The episode serves as a reminder of the larger problems at RTU, such as the unpaid salary and benefits that prompted the first team players to boycott.

To maintain the laws that regulate the game and preserve the league's credibility, the Ghana Football Association needs to take a firm stand on this matter.

Dreams FC crushed RTU 8-1, with five goals from Agyenim Boateng Mensah. RTU had already been relegated from the Ghanaian premier league.
