This result pushed Heart of Lions ahead of RTU on the league table, both teams now tied at 22 points. Meanwhile, GoldStars occupy the 13th position with 29 points.
The visitors, Bibiani Gold Stars, took an early lead with Emmanuel Odai scoring in the 13th minute, surprising the home fans.
However, just before halftime, Heart of Lions equalized thanks to Mustapha Yakubu's goal, leveling the score.
In the second half, Gold Stars regained the lead when Emmanuel Odai netted his second goal in the 63rd minute, putting them ahead 2-1.
But Heart of Lions fought back, with Akwasi Benito Duah scoring in the 77th minute to salvage a point for his team, ending the game in a 2-2 draw.
